Season fees

SEASONS

The autumn season for recreational groups is from August 12 to December 8, 2024.
The spring season for recreational groups is from January 6 to May 4, 2025.

REGISTRATION

Autumn groups will continue into the spring season and the registration automatically covers the spring season, so no new registration is required at the beginning of 2025. If you do not wish to continue after the autumn season has ended, the spot held by the gymnast should be removed from the spring group. Said place must be cancelled separately, see the instructions below.

PAYMENTS AND CANCELLING YOUR SPOT FROM A GROUP

Upon registering to a group, the season fee and membership fee (valid from August 1, 2024, to May 30, 2025) will automatically be sent via email. Invoices can also be found in MyClub under the gymnast’s details if needed. The autumn and spring seasons are billed separately. The spring season fees will be invoiced in December during week 51.

The training fee can also be paid via Paytrail online payment. Adults can use Smartum or Epassi exercise vouchers for their personal training fees. Membership fees or children’s training fees cannot be paid with these vouchers as they are personal benefits.

We charge the full autumn season fee for those starting by October 6, 2024. For those registering after this date, the season fee will be half of the autumn season training fee. Similarly, we charge the full spring season fee for those starting by March 9, 2025, and for those registering after this date, the season fee will be half of the full spring season training fee.

Gymnasts have the opportunity to try out the group during the first two consecutive training sessions from registering and can cancel their spot in the group 48 hours before the third consecutive training session. In this case, we will refund the training fee and membership fee, but a trial/booking fee of 20 euros will be charged. The same trial/booking fee (20 euros) will be charged even if the group is only tried once.

If the spot is cancelled 48 hours before the first training session after registering, we will not charge the season, membership or trial fees. If the spot is cancelled 48 hours before the sixth training session, we will only charge half of the season fee. The same fee will be charged if the cancellation is made mid-season before the sixth session from registration.

CHANGING GROUPS MID-SEASON

If a gymnast does not wish to continue from the autumn to the spring season, the place in the group must be cancelled. Cancellations for current members for the spring season must be made by December 15, 2024. If the cancellation is made after December 16, 2024, we will charge half of the season fee.

GROUP CANCELLATION (ON OUR END)

If the number of participants in a group drops below half of the group’s size, the group may be cancelled by the club, in which case we will refund the full amount paid. In such cases, we will always contact those registered for the group individually.

ABSENCES

There is no need to inform the coach or office about individual absences unless specifically requested. We do not compensate for occasional absences, and absences cannot be made up in another group. We aim to arrange extra free training sessions at the end of the seasons to compensate for individual absences. Absences due to illness or injury lasting more than two weeks will be handled separately with a doctor’s certificate. We do not compensate for holidays or days off due to public holidays.

INJURIES AND INSURANCE COVERAGE

All recreational gymnasts are insured with OP Insurance’s group accident insurance. In case of an accident, please contact the club’s office. 

We will make a full/partial refund in certain situations. To receive a refund, please send an email to our customer service including the gymnast’s name, reason for the refund (attach a copy of the doctor’s certificate for a sports ban), your bank account number, and BIC code.

  • April 18–21: Easter, no training
  • April 30–May 1: May Day, no training
  • Sunday, May 4: Spring season ends
  • Monday, May 5: Registration for the autumn season begins for current members
  • May 5–11: Makeup sessions
  • Monday, May 12: Registration for the autumn season begins for new members

EVENTS

Events are mainly communicated via email and the club’s website. Guardians should check and update their own and their children’s contact details in MyClub as needed. Keeping information up-to-date ensures smooth communication throughout the season.

ADULT GROUPS

Independent training, body maintenance, and circuit training are included in the season fee for adults in gymnastics groups. Please register via MyClub. An invoice will be automatically generated upon registration, so please contact customer service to correct the billing if needed.

For those not registered in groups, there is independent training for adults at Tuulimäki for a separate fee. Register via MyClub using the keyword “omatoimiharjoittelu.”

FAMILY GYM

The guided Family Gym (for families with 1-6 year olds) season fee includes training for adults and one child. Siblings only pay the membership fee. Please only register the child, not the adult.

When registering a sibling to the Family Gym group, please contact customer service to correct the fee on the invoice, so a corrected invoice can be sent by email. All children participating in the group must be registered via MyClub. This way, the coach has the information of the participants, and members can register for future groups as club members.

MEMBERSHIP FEE

The annual membership fee of 35 euros is paid annually and is added to the training fee invoice.

ADDITIONAL TRAINING FOR CLUBS

We provide opportunities for additional training for clubs. For additional training inquiries, please contact our customer service to agree on coaching, training duration, and pricing on a case-by-case basis.

DISCOUNT FOR MULTIPLE GROUPS

A discount is available for the second, third, and fourth recreational groups registered for a gymnast. The discount applies for the entire autumn/spring season when registered for guided activities (excluding Family Gym).

A recreational group is defined as an activity that does not participate in competitions or events under the federation’s license. However, participation in Lumo events, competitive recreational activities in TeamGym, and competitive recreational activities in artistic gymnastics are considered recreational activities.

We grant the discount as a refund, which will be processed in November for the autumn season and in April for the spring season. You can request the discount by sending an email to the office by October 13 for the autumn season and by March 16 for the spring season. The email should include the gymnast’s name, bank account number, account holder’s name, and BIC code.

PANDEMICS OR OTHER RESTRICTIONS

In the event of government mandates to close or restrict activities or otherwise significantly impact operations, we will primarily aim to arrange alternative gym activities during the 2024-2025 activity year until June 30, 2025. Alternatively, we will refund the fee for the closure period if we cannot provide alternative activities.
