In men’s artistic gymnastics, competitions are held on six apparatus: permanto floor, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars and high bars. There are four apparatus for women’s gymnastics: vault, floor exercise, uneven bars and balance beam. In addition to the actual apparatus, other equipment such as a trampoline and a pit are also used when training.
