WAU-Clubs 2019-2020

WAU Clubs for elementary school students during the academic year 2019-2020

The WAU Clubs (morning / afternoon clubs and break-time clubs) for elementary school students will continue during the academic year 2019-2020 from week 36 (September 2) onwards.

WAU Clubs are low-threshold clubs. The clubs have a variety of activities and games to enjoy. We take the children’s own wishes into consideration. The free WAU Clubs will continue during the autumn season in weeks 36-50 and the spring season in weeks 2-20. There is no need to register separately for the spring season.

You do not have to register for the following clubs through EsTT:

  • Bemböle skola rastklubb
  • Juvanpuisto break-time clubs
  • Kilonpuisto School break-time clubs (Iftin)
  • Keinumäki School morning club

Registration for Cetus swimming clubs are made directly through www.cetus.fi
Please remember to register for the Swimming Clubs separately for the spring season.

Adult WAU Clubs 2019-2020

The WAU clubs’ adult group exercise classes will continue during the 2019-2020 season. The price for each group is 40 €. For more information and contact: suomi.donna@gmail.com

Deep stretching Mon 20.00-21.00

Spring season Mondays 13.1.-27.4.2020.

Ymmersta School Ristihaantie 5, Espoo

Instructor: Donna Suomi

Warming up during the session is through dynamic stretching followed by a shift to longer static stretches. For the session, you will need indoor exercise clothing, a mat and a water bottle.

 

Kettlebell Tue 18.00-19.00

Spring season Tuesdays 14.1.-28.4.2020.

A kettlebell is perfect for beginners, as well as for those who are more active in sport. A kettlebell is a diverse form of exercise that strengthens the muscles of the entire body. The activity is particularly suitable for those suffering from neck and shoulder pain. For the lesson you will need your own kettlebell, indoor exercise clothing, mat, water bottle and towel for sweat.

 

Body care Tue 19.00-20.00

Body care involves movements that strengthen support muscles and you can enjoy both warming, dynamic stretches and long static stretches. During the session, you will experience how stretches will make you feel more relaxed. For the lesson you will require indoor exercise clothing, a water bottle and a mat (exercise mat / large towel).
